Funding and Grant Updates

Cross Keys Equine Therapy recently received a $7,000 grant through the Community Foundation in 2023. The funds will be used to cover the cost of our latest program, VALOR, which offers equine-assisted psychotherapy to veterans and first responders.

Cross Keys Equine Therapy received $10,000 in 2022.  This was the grant we applied for, and it will be used to continue renovations in the bank barn.  We are super excited about this wonderful gift!  I sent a letter requesting the disbursement of the funds, and they should be released soon.

Cross Keys Equine Therapy was the gracious recipient of a $5,000 grant through the Civic and Community Organizations Grant Funding of Rockingham County in 2021. The money was put towards cottage renovations-the multi-purpose space that will serve as the new headquarters for CKET. This provided a waiting area for clients, office space for mental health professionals and a gathering space for volunteers
